Intel vs Microsoft

wait, if you are thinking that this post is about comparison between both companies and coming to conclusion on which is the best? then you may be right!!....well, i WILL compare some facts of these two companies, but not in the manner from which you can tell which is the best one.

these both companies have their different domains and methodology. the idea behind this post came into my empty mind some days ago. i was thinking that why MICROSOFT has made more money than INTEL.(well, i dont know if that is true or not. :)) i came to this conclusion from bill gates. he has been on the top of list of billionaires for several years.

lets make it simple. the thing i want to say is:

i.e. Windows (well of course), Linux(billions of disrtos.), mac and many more.

>>>>There is only two companies which is making Processors.(well, as per my knowledge).
i.e. Intel, AMD.

>>>>>Each computer requires ONE processor and one OS.

>>>>most of the computers i have seen(90%), are having intel processors.

>>>> not all computers having windows.

so the questions is how MICROSOFT IS MAKING MORE MONEY THEN INTEL?

if you find the answer, then plz explain me. i will appreciate it.

if you want to know everything about both companies then google both of them and come with answers. i m bit lazy to do that.
