so it's been year at faculty of technology and engineering, MS University of baroda. it's summer vacation time and boy believe u me techo deserves a post. ;)

Founded by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III of Baroda as the Kalabhavan Technical Institute in 1890 the Faculty of Technology and Engineering is popularly recognised as Techo.
in 1949 the Kalabhavan was converted into the Faculty of Technology and Engineering (with the establishment of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, following generous donation by the Gaekwads for the University and the New Building of the Institute). From this stage onwards, the Institute developed rapidly recognizing no bounds.

there is no doubt about the glorious history of techo. techo is one of the oldest engineering institute of country and has given a country its very first engineers. the institute is even older than IITs.
students of techo remain busy during whole year. not because of study ,but because of the various annual events they organize.
there are four main events.
1) Footprints: it is a technical fiesta of techo. visit footprints official website www.msu-footprints.org for more information.
2)Paramarsh: it is non technical event of technology faculty. official website www.msu-paramarsh.org.
3)Prerna: it is a social event organized by students of techo every year. official website www.msu-prerna.org
4) Junoon: the cultural festival of techo. get more information at www.msu-junoon.org
techo has training and placement cell for industry-institute interaction. you can get insight of placements at placement blog msuplacement.blogspot.com.
